In an attempt to revolutionize the IT/BP sector, SLASSCOM is currently running the SLASSCOM Ingenuity Awards 2021. The awards will focus on recognizing the island’s greatest innovators and draws from the recent launch of Island of Ingenuity, the Sri Lankan brand that markets the island’s combined Knowledge Solutions industry to the world. 

The awards ceremony itself, which is the third consecutive one hosted by SLASSCOM is scheduled to be held on 30th March 2021 and will be the biggest one ever. By being held concurrently as a national event in Colombo and several smaller province-level events around the country, the combined sessions will be streamed and connected making this the largest virtual ceremony to be hosted in Sri Lanka.
